Faculty Senate Executive Committee
Sets the Senate's agenda and advises University leadership on academic and general policy.
The FSEC plans the agenda for Faculty Senate meetings, assigns pending issues to Senate committees for initial review, and serves as a standing resource to the President and Chief Academic Officer on academic and University-wide policy matters. FSEC also oversees the Faculty Senate Legal Fund and receives reports from the Faculty Grievance Committee.
The FSEC consists of the Senate chair (who chairs FSEC), the Senate vice chair, the Senate secretary, the chairs of FWC, APC, SEC, and CC, the past Senate chair, the Faculty Trustee on the Board of Trustees, and one senator elected at-large. The President, the Chief Academic Officer, and a representative from the Deans in Academic Affairs serve as non-voting, ex-officio members.
