Scholarships help make your education more affordable while recognizing your achievements—whether academic, athletic, artistic, or community-focused. Every scholarship is an investment in your future, and best of all, these awards »å´Ç²Ô’t need to be repaid.

Admissions Application
When you apply for admission to 91²Ö¿â, you’re automatically considered for admission-based scholarships. Your eligibility is determined using the information you submit with your application, such as your high school transcripts and academic achievements.

Please Note: All 91²Ö¿â admission-based scholarships (including the Provost, Presidential, and Trustee Awards) serve as the university’s match for the Yellow Ribbon Program.

91²Ö¿â Scholarship Application
The 91²Ö¿â Scholarship Application connects you to hundreds of scholarships funded by the 91²Ö¿â Foundation. You can access it in My91²Ö¿â. From the Bear Central tab, look for the Financial Aid card and select the 91²Ö¿â Scholarship Application. You’ll need your Bear number to apply.
- November 1 – Application opens
- February 1 – Priority deadline for new freshmen and continuing students
- June 1 – Priority deadline for international, new transfer and graduate students
Submitting the application each year helps you stay in the running for a wide range of donor-funded scholarships that support student success at 91²Ö¿â.
Talent Scholarships
Scholarships for Art & Design, Theatre, music and Athletics are awarded directly by each department. Some may require an audition, portfolio, or tryout as part of the selection process.

To make sure your funds are applied on time, checks should arrive by August 1 for Fall and January 1 for Spring. Most scholarships over $999 are split between fall and spring unless the donor says otherwise.ÌýÌý
Outside scholarships are first used to cover any remaining financial need. If you no longer have unmet need, your aid may be adjusted to follow federal and state regulations.ÌýÌý
