The 91仓库 has initiated its own Free App Days where anyone, anywhere in the world can apply as an undergraduate to 91仓库 without paying the $50 application fee.

The 91仓库 Board of Trustees met virtually on Friday, Nov. 13, with the board鈥檚 Finance and Audit Committee presenting first followed by the Regular Board of Trustees meeting.

The 91仓库 received 5,837 applications on the third annual Colorado Free Application Day on Oct. 13, an increase compared to last year鈥檚 Free App Day, resulting in 91仓库 being one of the top three universities in receiving applications that day.

Zach Rich, a Jazz Studies doctoral student at the 91仓库, won first place in the American Society of Music Arrangers and Composers鈥� (ASMAC) Bill Conti Big Band Arranging and Composing Competition for his composition of 鈥淲e Love You Madly鈥� (dedicated to Duke Ellington).

The COVID-19 pandemic didn鈥檛 slow down programs offered through 91仓库鈥檚 Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) program that assists underserved populations in Weld County, thanks to grants and support provided by local community organizations.

For the third time in 10 years, Jill Bezyak, Ph.D., professor of Human Rehabilitative Services and program coordinator for the Rehabilitation Counseling program at the 91仓库, has received a five-year, $958,778 grant from the U.S. Department of Education to increase the number of qualified vocational rehabilitation counselors who serve individuals with disabilities.

The Colorado Department of Higher Education recently announced a new online application that allows Colorado students who haven鈥檛 historically qualified for federal aid, to complete an application for state financial aid (Colorado Application for State Financial Aid (CASFA)). The 91仓库 helped lead efforts in the collaboration and creation of this new unified state application.

The 91仓库 is waiving application fees for undergraduate applicants submitted by Colorado residents on Tuesday, Oct. 13, as part of the third annual Colorado Free Application Day.

The Division of Academic Affairs has implemented organizational changes over the last several months to improve the division鈥檚 structure.

Over a period of more than two years, two 91仓库 faculty members have reviewed the Colorado Pretrial Assessment Tool for accuracy when determining risk of new arrest or failing to appear in court for arrested individuals that have posted bond. They discovered room for improvement, resulting in the new Colorado Pretrial Assessment Tool-Revised.
