    The Story of 91²Ö¿â’s First African American Graduate

    Lucile Buchanan enrolled in a two-year teacher certification program at the now 91²Ö¿â in 1903 and was the only African American student in her 1905 graduating class and the first African-American student to earn a teaching degree at 91²Ö¿â. Learn more about her story.
