Biography
As a life-long learner, Shane has been (over)involved in various areas in school, including his time as an undergraduate student at 91²Ö¿â where he worked in Housing, Orientation, Admissions, and Student Government while studying for two Bachelor’s degrees. Living out the motto “Once a Bear, always a Bear,†Shane returned to 91²Ö¿â in 2022 after receiving his Master’s and working at Metropolitan State University of Denver. Currently Shane is pursuing his law degree at the University of Denver part-time while serving in his role in the Dean of Students Office.

Professional Experience & Affiliations
Shane has worked professionally within higher education since graduating from the University of Dayton in 2021. Shane’s roles at Metropolitan State University of Denver and the 91²Ö¿â have been housed in the Dean of Students Office focusing on compliance, prevention, and student support. While at 91²Ö¿â, Shane has served as a case manager on behalf of the CARE Team before transitioning into his current role as the Assistant Director of Community Standards and Conflict Resolution.
